Snooker
Darts
New Lynn RSA Darts Section
Men’s Darts is played on Tuesday night starting 7.30pm. The Corban Cup West Auckland consists of 3’s, pairs and singles. We enter teams in the North Island and National Competitions.
Women’s Darts is played on Monday nights starting at 7.30pm. Teams play in the West Auckland Ladies RSA competitions entering pairs and singles.
If you are interested in playing darts, come and join a team, we would love to have some new members for the Darts Section.

Indoor Bowls
The Indoor Bowls section of the New Lynn RSA caters for members on a social level with a bit of Indoor Bowls thrown in.
We play each Wednesday night at the RSA commencing at 7.30pm and all members or prospective members are cordially invited to attend. No expertise is required as coaching is available for first-timers. Our season runs through from the first Wednesday in February to Mid November.
We play RSA Championships each month throughout the season and enter teams each weekend into both Western and Auckland Championships where we have a fair degree of success. We have many Auckland and Western Representatives playing in competitions throughout the North Island.
We also spend a few weekends away playing in tournaments in places like Rotorua, Kerikeri, Hamilton, Whangamata , Tokoroa, also entering teams in the NZ Nationals in places like New Plymouth, Wellington and Blenheim. These are socially based but competitively played.
Just rock on up on a Wednesday night around 7pm and you will be more than welcome by a fantastic group of people

Fishing

The fishing section is a friendly bunch of ace and causal fishermen and fisherwomen.
Using one of the best charters out of Auckland ( Panapa Charters) we hire the whole boat for 3-4 days trips a year on the Hauraki Gulf – it is always a great day out.
Once a year we go on a 4 day trip, with 3 days fishing out of Coromandel Town on the Firth of Thames – this is always a fun trip away fishing and socialising. In order to reduce the cost to section members for trips, we run two major fundraising events each year – Batons Up and Calcutta (Melbourne Cup).

Petrol Heads
The Petrolheads section was formed back in 2010 .
We have a small group with a couple of classic cars and also two vintage speedway cars owned by members . We meet every third Wednesday of the month . We hold Bathurst day in the RSA and go to car shows sometimes .
We would welcome people her have an interest in cars and would be willing to help out with raffles and also around the RSA when needed .

We meet the 3rd Monday of the month have a small meeting and then we have a speaker who is someone telling us about things that we should know about or someone who is into crafts they are quite interesting ,we sometimes go out for lunch or try and do a trip.
